Characterization through Possessions
This person's possessions say a lot about them.

Dirty Golfball
Balloon
This shows that this person does not play golf. You wouldn't allow your golfball to be that dirty...unless you are a slob. Also, they probably have young kids because they have a balloon. Little kids like those.

Sunglasses
Hand Lotion
Lip Treatment
Periwinkle phone
Altoids
The sunglasses are pretty hip, so this person is probably fashionable. They want to look cool. The hand lotion and lip treatment show that they want to portray themselves as feminine by keeping well moisturized and have well-treated lips. The periwinkle phone pushes the girly girl factor over the top.

Practical/tools
Keys
Flashlight
Tape Measure
Off Wipe (bug repellant)
Flashlight
Tape Measure
Protein Bar
While seemingly being a girly girl, this person also has a lot of practical items. Everything from a flashlight to a tape measure show that they want to be prepared. So they seem to be organized and attentive to planning ahead.

Reflection

Reflection
What gave you the strongest impression about the character you picked?
Shiflet is a rather sketchy. I thought he was going to be a cool person. He seemed to be animated and interesting. But the more statements he made that were nonsense, the more he lost my trust. I don't like it when people try to sound smart just to be showy. I don't think the mother in the story does either.

Would you hang out with him?
No. He would annoy me. He would be one of those guys who always tries to up you when you tell a story. Or either he would try to take advantage of you.
